Jeff Palk and his partner Scott Becker, both Washington lawyers, founded Compliance in 1997 and have developed it into one of the largest legal staffing and project management firms in the world. Other key offices are located in New York and Los Angeles.
Legal contingency staffing services have been growing steadily and are projected to account for $1.7 billion in fees in the U.S. this year, Palk said. “This growth has been particularly pronounced in Washington where there are more lawyers per capita than anywhere in the world. The new staging center will serve their needs, particularly during periods of intense regulatory investigations and litigation when experienced professional support becomes critical.”
As pioneers in document review and project staging, the founders of Compliance stay true to innovation and recently opened a state-of-the-art project staging center in the heart of Washington’s central business district. The facility is available 24-hours a day and can accommodate as many as 300 attorneys. The 16,000-square-foot center, the largest of its type in the U. S. and the first specifically designed for legal staffing projects, is equipped with advanced systems and technology capable of retrieving and reviewing millions of pages of electronic documents each day.
